How To Uninstall firmware-crystalhd On Debian 9

To uninstall firmware-crystalhd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just firmware-crystalhd

Crystal HD Video Decoder (firmware)Debian 9.0non-free/kernel0.0~git20120110.fdd2f19-1
sudo apt-get remove firmware-crystalhd

This will remove just the firmware-crystalhd package itself.

Uninstall firmware-crystalhd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove firmware-crystalhd

This will remove the firmware-crystalhd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for firmware-crystalhd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge firmware-crystalhd

Or similarly, like this firmware-crystalhd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove firmware-crystalhd
