How To Uninstall firmware-intelwimax On Debian 9

To uninstall firmware-intelwimax just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just firmware-intelwimax

Binary firmware for Intel WiMAX ConnectionDebian 9.0non-free/kernel20161130-3
sudo apt-get remove firmware-intelwimax

This will remove just the firmware-intelwimax package itself.

Uninstall firmware-intelwimax and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove firmware-intelwimax

This will remove the firmware-intelwimax package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for firmware-intelwimax then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge firmware-intelwimax

Or similarly, like this firmware-intelwimax

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove firmware-intelwimax
