How To Uninstall firmware-zd1211 On Debian 9

To uninstall firmware-zd1211 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just firmware-zd1211

binary firmware for the zd1211rw wireless driverDebian 9.0non-free/kernel1:1.5-4
sudo apt-get remove firmware-zd1211

This will remove just the firmware-zd1211 package itself.

Uninstall firmware-zd1211 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove firmware-zd1211

This will remove the firmware-zd1211 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for firmware-zd1211 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge firmware-zd1211

Or similarly, like this firmware-zd1211

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove firmware-zd1211
