How To Uninstall manpages-posix On Debian 9

To uninstall manpages-posix just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just manpages-posix

Manual pages about using POSIX systemDebian 9.0non-free/doc2013a-2
sudo apt-get remove manpages-posix

This will remove just the manpages-posix package itself.

Uninstall manpages-posix and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove manpages-posix

This will remove the manpages-posix package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for manpages-posix then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge manpages-posix

Or similarly, like this manpages-posix

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove manpages-posix
