How To Uninstall phoronix-test-suite On Debian 7

To uninstall phoronix-test-suite just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just phoronix-test-suite

comprehensive testing and benchmarking platformDebian 7.0contrib/utils3.8.0-1
sudo apt-get remove phoronix-test-suite

This will remove just the phoronix-test-suite package itself.

Uninstall phoronix-test-suite and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove phoronix-test-suite

This will remove the phoronix-test-suite package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for phoronix-test-suite then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge phoronix-test-suite

Or similarly, like this phoronix-test-suite

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove phoronix-test-suite
