How To Uninstall python-pycuda-headers On Debian 7

To uninstall python-pycuda-headers just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-pycuda-headers

headers for Python module to access Nvidia‘s CUDA parallel computation APIDebian 7.0contrib/python2012.1-1
sudo apt-get remove python-pycuda-headers

This will remove just the python-pycuda-headers package itself.

Uninstall python-pycuda-headers and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-pycuda-headers

This will remove the python-pycuda-headers package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-pycuda-headers then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-pycuda-headers

Or similarly, like this python-pycuda-headers

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-pycuda-headers
