How To Uninstall iso-codes On Debian 7

To uninstall iso-codes just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just iso-codes

ISO language, territory, currency, script codes and their translationsDebian 7.0misc3.41-1
sudo apt-get remove iso-codes

This will remove just the iso-codes package itself.

Uninstall iso-codes and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove iso-codes

This will remove the iso-codes package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for iso-codes then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge iso-codes

Or similarly, like this iso-codes

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove iso-codes
