How To Uninstall iverilog On Debian 7

To uninstall iverilog just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just iverilog

Icarus verilog compilerDebian 7.0electronics0.9.5-1
sudo apt-get remove iverilog

This will remove just the iverilog package itself.

Uninstall iverilog and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove iverilog

This will remove the iverilog package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for iverilog then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge iverilog

Or similarly, like this iverilog

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove iverilog
