How To Uninstall ivy On Debian 7

To uninstall ivy just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ivy

The agile dependency managerDebian 7.0java2.2.0-2
sudo apt-get remove ivy

This will remove just the ivy package itself.

Uninstall ivy and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ivy

This will remove the ivy package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ivy then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ivy

Or similarly, like this ivy

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ivy
