How To Uninstall jack-stdio On Debian 7

To uninstall jack-stdio just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jack-stdio

program to pipe audio-data from and to JACKDebian 7.0sound1.4-1
sudo apt-get remove jack-stdio

This will remove just the jack-stdio package itself.

Uninstall jack-stdio and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jack-stdio

This will remove the jack-stdio package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jack-stdio then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jack-stdio

Or similarly, like this jack-stdio

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jack-stdio
