How To Uninstall jackd2-firewire On Debian 7

To uninstall jackd2-firewire just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jackd2-firewire

JACK Audio Connection Kit (FFADO and FreeBoB backends)Debian 7.0sound1.9.8~dfsg.4+20120529git007cdc37-5
sudo apt-get remove jackd2-firewire

This will remove just the jackd2-firewire package itself.

Uninstall jackd2-firewire and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jackd2-firewire

This will remove the jackd2-firewire package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jackd2-firewire then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jackd2-firewire

Or similarly, like this jackd2-firewire

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jackd2-firewire
