How To Uninstall jade On Debian 7

To uninstall jade just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jade

James Clark's DSSSL EngineDebian 7.0text1.2.1-47.1+b1
sudo apt-get remove jade

This will remove just the jade package itself.

Uninstall jade and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jade

This will remove the jade package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jade then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jade

Or similarly, like this jade

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jade
