How To Uninstall jailtool On Debian 7

To uninstall jailtool just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jailtool

sudo apt-get remove jailtool

This will remove just the jailtool package itself.

Uninstall jailtool and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jailtool

This will remove the jailtool package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jailtool then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jailtool

Or similarly, like this jailtool

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jailtool
