How To Uninstall jargon On Debian 7

To uninstall jargon just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jargon

the definitive compendium of hacker slangDebian 7.0doc4.0.0-5
sudo apt-get remove jargon

This will remove just the jargon package itself.

Uninstall jargon and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jargon

This will remove the jargon package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jargon then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jargon

Or similarly, like this jargon

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jargon
