How To Uninstall javahelp2-doc On Debian 7

To uninstall javahelp2-doc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just javahelp2-doc

Java based help system - contains Javadoc API documentationDebian 7.0doc2.0.05.ds1-6
sudo apt-get remove javahelp2-doc

This will remove just the javahelp2-doc package itself.

Uninstall javahelp2-doc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove javahelp2-doc

This will remove the javahelp2-doc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for javahelp2-doc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge javahelp2-doc

Or similarly, like this javahelp2-doc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove javahelp2-doc
