How To Uninstall javahelper On Debian 7

To uninstall javahelper just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just javahelper

Helper scripts for packaging Java programsDebian 7.0java0.43
sudo apt-get remove javahelper

This will remove just the javahelper package itself.

Uninstall javahelper and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove javahelper

This will remove the javahelper package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for javahelper then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge javahelper

Or similarly, like this javahelper

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove javahelper
