How To Uninstall jaxe On Debian 7

To uninstall jaxe just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jaxe

JAva Xml EditorDebian 7.0editors3.5-2
sudo apt-get remove jaxe

This will remove just the jaxe package itself.

Uninstall jaxe and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jaxe

This will remove the jaxe package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jaxe then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jaxe

Or similarly, like this jaxe

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jaxe
