How To Uninstall jbibtex-base On Debian 7

To uninstall jbibtex-base just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jbibtex-base

make a bibliography for ASCII p(La)TeX / NTT j(La)TeXDebian 7.0tex1:2.5-2.1
sudo apt-get remove jbibtex-base

This will remove just the jbibtex-base package itself.

Uninstall jbibtex-base and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jbibtex-base

This will remove the jbibtex-base package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jbibtex-base then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jbibtex-base

Or similarly, like this jbibtex-base

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jbibtex-base
