How To Uninstall jeex On Debian 7

To uninstall jeex just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jeex

visual editor to view and edit files in hexadecimalDebian 7.0editors12.0.4-1
sudo apt-get remove jeex

This will remove just the jeex package itself.

Uninstall jeex and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jeex

This will remove the jeex package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jeex then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jeex

Or similarly, like this jeex

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jeex
