How To Uninstall jenkins-crypto-util On Debian 7

To uninstall jenkins-crypto-util just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jenkins-crypto-util

Jenkins Utility around Java Crypto APIDebian 7.0java1.1-2
sudo apt-get remove jenkins-crypto-util

This will remove just the jenkins-crypto-util package itself.

Uninstall jenkins-crypto-util and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jenkins-crypto-util

This will remove the jenkins-crypto-util package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jenkins-crypto-util then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jenkins-crypto-util

Or similarly, like this jenkins-crypto-util

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jenkins-crypto-util
