How To Uninstall jigdo-file On Debian 7

To uninstall jigdo-file just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jigdo-file

Download Debian CD images from any Debian mirrorDebian 7.0utils0.7.3-3+b1
sudo apt-get remove jigdo-file

This will remove just the jigdo-file package itself.

Uninstall jigdo-file and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jigdo-file

This will remove the jigdo-file package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jigdo-file then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jigdo-file

Or similarly, like this jigdo-file

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jigdo-file
