How To Uninstall jiipview On Debian 7

To uninstall jiipview just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jiipview

Java Internet Imaging Protocol (IIP v1.05) clientDebian 7.0graphics2.05-1
sudo apt-get remove jiipview

This will remove just the jiipview package itself.

Uninstall jiipview and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jiipview

This will remove the jiipview package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jiipview then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jiipview

Or similarly, like this jiipview

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jiipview
