How To Uninstall jmeter-http On Debian 7

To uninstall jmeter-http just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jmeter-http

Load testing and performance measurement application (http module)Debian 7.0net2.5.1-1
sudo apt-get remove jmeter-http

This will remove just the jmeter-http package itself.

Uninstall jmeter-http and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jmeter-http

This will remove the jmeter-http package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jmeter-http then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jmeter-http

Or similarly, like this jmeter-http

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jmeter-http
