How To Uninstall jmeter-jms On Debian 7

To uninstall jmeter-jms just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jmeter-jms

Load testing and performance measurement application (jms module)Debian 7.0net2.5.1-1
sudo apt-get remove jmeter-jms

This will remove just the jmeter-jms package itself.

Uninstall jmeter-jms and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jmeter-jms

This will remove the jmeter-jms package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jmeter-jms then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jmeter-jms

Or similarly, like this jmeter-jms

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jmeter-jms
