How To Uninstall jmeter-tcp On Debian 7

To uninstall jmeter-tcp just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jmeter-tcp

Load testing and performance measurement application (tcp module)Debian 7.0net2.5.1-1
sudo apt-get remove jmeter-tcp

This will remove just the jmeter-tcp package itself.

Uninstall jmeter-tcp and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jmeter-tcp

This will remove the jmeter-tcp package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jmeter-tcp then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jmeter-tcp

Or similarly, like this jmeter-tcp

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jmeter-tcp
