How To Uninstall josm On Debian 7

To uninstall josm just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just josm

Editor for OpenStreetMapDebian 7.0utils0.0.svn5267+dfsg1-2
sudo apt-get remove josm

This will remove just the josm package itself.

Uninstall josm and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove josm

This will remove the josm package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for josm then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge josm

Or similarly, like this josm

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove josm
