How To Uninstall jpeginfo On Debian 7

To uninstall jpeginfo just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jpeginfo

Prints information and tests integrity of JPEG/JFIF filesDebian 7.0graphics1.6.0-5
sudo apt-get remove jpeginfo

This will remove just the jpeginfo package itself.

Uninstall jpeginfo and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jpeginfo

This will remove the jpeginfo package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jpeginfo then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jpeginfo

Or similarly, like this jpeginfo

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jpeginfo
