How To Uninstall jpegpixi On Debian 7

To uninstall jpegpixi just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jpegpixi

Remove hot spots from JPEG images with minimal quality lossDebian 7.0graphics1.1.1-4.1
sudo apt-get remove jpegpixi

This will remove just the jpegpixi package itself.

Uninstall jpegpixi and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jpegpixi

This will remove the jpegpixi package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jpegpixi then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jpegpixi

Or similarly, like this jpegpixi

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jpegpixi
