How To Uninstall jsmath On Debian 7

To uninstall jsmath just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jsmath

TeX equations in HTML documentsDebian 7.0web3.6c-1.1
sudo apt-get remove jsmath

This will remove just the jsmath package itself.

Uninstall jsmath and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jsmath

This will remove the jsmath package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jsmath then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jsmath

Or similarly, like this jsmath

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jsmath
