How To Uninstall jta On Debian 7

To uninstall jta just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jta

Java telnet/ssh appletDebian 7.0net2.6+dfsg-5
sudo apt-get remove jta

This will remove just the jta package itself.

Uninstall jta and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jta

This will remove the jta package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jta then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jta

Or similarly, like this jta

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jta
