How To Uninstall jtreg On Debian 7

To uninstall jtreg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jtreg

Regression Test Harness for the OpenJDK platformDebian 7.0java4.1-2
sudo apt-get remove jtreg

This will remove just the jtreg package itself.

Uninstall jtreg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jtreg

This will remove the jtreg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jtreg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jtreg

Or similarly, like this jtreg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jtreg
