How To Uninstall junit On Debian 7

To uninstall junit just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just junit

Automated testing framework for JavaDebian 7.0java3.8.2-8
sudo apt-get remove junit

This will remove just the junit package itself.

Uninstall junit and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove junit

This will remove the junit package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for junit then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge junit

Or similarly, like this junit

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove junit
