How To Uninstall jwchat On Debian 7

To uninstall jwchat just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jwchat

a full featured, web-based Jabber chat clientDebian 7.0web1.0+dfsg-1.1
sudo apt-get remove jwchat

This will remove just the jwchat package itself.

Uninstall jwchat and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jwchat

This will remove the jwchat package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jwchat then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jwchat

Or similarly, like this jwchat

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jwchat
