How To Uninstall jwm On Debian 7

To uninstall jwm just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jwm

very small lightweight pure X11 window manager with tray and menusDebian 7.0x112.1.0-3
sudo apt-get remove jwm

This will remove just the jwm package itself.

Uninstall jwm and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jwm

This will remove the jwm package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jwm then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jwm

Or similarly, like this jwm

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jwm
