How To Uninstall jython-doc On Debian 7

To uninstall jython-doc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jython-doc

Jython documentation including API docsDebian 7.0doc2.5.2-1
sudo apt-get remove jython-doc

This will remove just the jython-doc package itself.

Uninstall jython-doc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jython-doc

This will remove the jython-doc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jython-doc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jython-doc

Or similarly, like this jython-doc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jython-doc
