How To Uninstall jzip On Debian 7

To uninstall jzip just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jzip

Text mode interpreter for Z-Code adventuresDebian 7.0games210r20001005d-2
sudo apt-get remove jzip

This will remove just the jzip package itself.

Uninstall jzip and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jzip

This will remove the jzip package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jzip then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jzip

Or similarly, like this jzip

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jzip
