How To Uninstall lib32gcc1 On Debian 7

To uninstall lib32gcc1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just lib32gcc1

GCC support library (32 bit Version)Debian 7.0libs1:4.7.2-5
sudo apt-get remove lib32gcc1

This will remove just the lib32gcc1 package itself.

Uninstall lib32gcc1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove lib32gcc1

This will remove the lib32gcc1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for lib32gcc1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge lib32gcc1

Or similarly, like this lib32gcc1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove lib32gcc1
