How To Uninstall lib32stdc++6 On Debian 7

To uninstall lib32stdc++6 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just lib32stdc++6

GNU Standard C++ Library v3 (32 bit Version)Debian 7.0libs4.7.2-5
sudo apt-get remove lib32stdc++6

This will remove just the lib32stdc++6 package itself.

Uninstall lib32stdc++6 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove lib32stdc++6

This will remove the lib32stdc++6 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for lib32stdc++6 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge lib32stdc++6

Or similarly, like this lib32stdc++6

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove lib32stdc++6
