How To Uninstall libaddressview-dev On Debian 7

To uninstall libaddressview-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libaddressview-dev

Address display/edit framework for GNUstep (development files)Debian 7.0libdevel0.4.7-1+b5
sudo apt-get remove libaddressview-dev

This will remove just the libaddressview-dev package itself.

Uninstall libaddressview-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libaddressview-dev

This will remove the libaddressview-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libaddressview-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libaddressview-dev

Or similarly, like this libaddressview-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libaddressview-dev
