How To Uninstall libatk1.0-dbg On Debian 7

To uninstall libatk1.0-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libatk1.0-dbg

ATK libraries and debugging symbolsDebian 7.0debug2.4.0-2
sudo apt-get remove libatk1.0-dbg

This will remove just the libatk1.0-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libatk1.0-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libatk1.0-dbg

This will remove the libatk1.0-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libatk1.0-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libatk1.0-dbg

Or similarly, like this libatk1.0-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libatk1.0-dbg
