How To Uninstall libatlas-cpp-0.6-1-dbg On Debian 7

To uninstall libatlas-cpp-0.6-1-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libatlas-cpp-0.6-1-dbg

sudo apt-get remove libatlas-cpp-0.6-1-dbg

This will remove just the libatlas-cpp-0.6-1-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libatlas-cpp-0.6-1-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libatlas-cpp-0.6-1-dbg

This will remove the libatlas-cpp-0.6-1-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libatlas-cpp-0.6-1-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libatlas-cpp-0.6-1-dbg

Or similarly, like this libatlas-cpp-0.6-1-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libatlas-cpp-0.6-1-dbg
