How To Uninstall libaudit0 On Debian 7

To uninstall libaudit0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libaudit0

Dynamic library for security auditingDebian 7.0libs1:1.7.18-1.1
sudo apt-get remove libaudit0

This will remove just the libaudit0 package itself.

Uninstall libaudit0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libaudit0

This will remove the libaudit0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libaudit0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libaudit0

Or similarly, like this libaudit0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libaudit0
