How To Uninstall libbcmail-java On Debian 7

To uninstall libbcmail-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libbcmail-java

Bouncy Castle generators/processors for S/MIME and CMSDebian 7.0java1.44+dfsg-3.1+deb7u1
sudo apt-get remove libbcmail-java

This will remove just the libbcmail-java package itself.

Uninstall libbcmail-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libbcmail-java

This will remove the libbcmail-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libbcmail-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libbcmail-java

Or similarly, like this libbcmail-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libbcmail-java
