How To Uninstall libbluetooth-dev On Debian 7

To uninstall libbluetooth-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libbluetooth-dev

Development files for using the BlueZ Linux Bluetooth libraryDebian 7.0libdevel4.99-2
sudo apt-get remove libbluetooth-dev

This will remove just the libbluetooth-dev package itself.

Uninstall libbluetooth-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libbluetooth-dev

This will remove the libbluetooth-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libbluetooth-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libbluetooth-dev

Or similarly, like this libbluetooth-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libbluetooth-dev
