How To Uninstall libc-icap-mod-clamav On Debian 7

To uninstall libc-icap-mod-clamav just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libc-icap-mod-clamav

C-ICAP Antivirus Service for c-icap (libclamav)Debian 7.0net1:0.1.6-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove libc-icap-mod-clamav

This will remove just the libc-icap-mod-clamav package itself.

Uninstall libc-icap-mod-clamav and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libc-icap-mod-clamav

This will remove the libc-icap-mod-clamav package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libc-icap-mod-clamav then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libc-icap-mod-clamav

Or similarly, like this libc-icap-mod-clamav

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libc-icap-mod-clamav
