How To Uninstall libcastor-jdo-java On Debian 7

To uninstall libcastor-jdo-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcastor-jdo-java

Data binding framework for Java (XML, Objects, DB) - JDODebian 7.0java1.3.2-1
sudo apt-get remove libcastor-jdo-java

This will remove just the libcastor-jdo-java package itself.

Uninstall libcastor-jdo-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcastor-jdo-java

This will remove the libcastor-jdo-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcastor-jdo-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcastor-jdo-java

Or similarly, like this libcastor-jdo-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcastor-jdo-java
