How To Uninstall libcdi0 On Debian 7

To uninstall libcdi0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcdi0

Climate Data Interface (cdi) libraryDebian 7.0libs1.5.4+dfsg.1-5
sudo apt-get remove libcdi0

This will remove just the libcdi0 package itself.

Uninstall libcdi0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcdi0

This will remove the libcdi0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcdi0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcdi0

Or similarly, like this libcdi0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcdi0
