How To Uninstall libcdk-java On Debian 7

To uninstall libcdk-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcdk-java

Chemistry Development Kit (CDK) Java librariesDebian 7.0java1:1.2.10-3
sudo apt-get remove libcdk-java

This will remove just the libcdk-java package itself.

Uninstall libcdk-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcdk-java

This will remove the libcdk-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcdk-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcdk-java

Or similarly, like this libcdk-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcdk-java
