How To Uninstall libcoderay-ruby On Debian 7

To uninstall libcoderay-ruby just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcoderay-ruby

Transitional package for coderayDebian 7.0oldlibs1.0.6-2
sudo apt-get remove libcoderay-ruby

This will remove just the libcoderay-ruby package itself.

Uninstall libcoderay-ruby and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcoderay-ruby

This will remove the libcoderay-ruby package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcoderay-ruby then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcoderay-ruby

Or similarly, like this libcoderay-ruby

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcoderay-ruby
