How To Uninstall libcollectdclient0 On Debian 7

To uninstall libcollectdclient0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcollectdclient0

client library for collectd's control interfaceDebian 7.0libs5.1.0-3
sudo apt-get remove libcollectdclient0

This will remove just the libcollectdclient0 package itself.

Uninstall libcollectdclient0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcollectdclient0

This will remove the libcollectdclient0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcollectdclient0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcollectdclient0

Or similarly, like this libcollectdclient0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcollectdclient0
